Club Hours:


Every club member is issued a key to the gate and to the building so you’re free to come and practice or arrange a pick-up game anytime you wish day or night. The only time you are not permitted to use the club is if there is a schedule function or tournament on these occasions the club will not be available for your use.


Dues: 


Monthly dues ($20.00) are due no later than the 15th of each month to the TREASURER. 

Just remember you may bring the same guest on (2) TWO separate occasions with NO CHARGE TO THE GUEST but after the second visit they will have to PAY $5.00 Flat rate to pitch. You are responsible for signing them in before they begin to pitch horseshoes, collecting any fees and marking PITCHING FEES on envelope and placing the money in the OFFICE MAIL SLOT. We respect your integrity in this matter. Obviously, if a friend enjoys coming up here regularly, it only makes sense to urge them to join the club.

Leagues:


Summer league pitches on Tuesday nights 7:00 PM starting the first week in May through August summer league $5.00 per week for members and $10 per week for non-members. 

Pick pills to form groups of 4 pitchers pitch 6 games per night 2 games with the other three pitchers in your 4-person group 30-point games best won lost record will be league champion every other week is position night depending where you stand in the league standings

Money awarded at end of season depending where you finish in league.

All Horseshoes pitchers are welcome to pitch.


Tuesday Night Doubles Blind Draw Pitch runs October through April.  25-point games pick different partner after each round. Members pay $5.00 and $10.00 for non-members per week.  The top total point pitchers win money. 


Thursday Morning Winter league starts the first week in October through March 10:00 AM

Members pay $5.00 per week with awards given at the end of the season.

YOU MUST BE A H.O.P.E. MEMBER TO PITCH

Format same as summer league) 30-point games pitch 6 games best won lost record league champ 4-person groups by picking pills to form groups every other week position week determined by weekly standings.


Friday Night Winter League starts the first Friday in October 7:00 PM $8.00 per week and YOU MUST BE H.O.P.E. MEMBER TO PITCH and also a member of the NHPA as the league is a sanctioned league with the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association.  The league program Format 3 person teams pitching 6 games a night 20 shoe count-all with 80% handicap Best Won Lost record for team league champions top 4 teams make Playoff’s at end of season Money awarded to the top pitchers in the league for most wins, Money also awarded for each team total wins through the season. Banquet at end of season with food and refreshments and N.H.P.A. award presentation





















Additional Information:

Bulletin Boards: Please read the various bulletin boards posted through the club since this is our key vehicle for maintaining regular communication about league statistics, upcoming tournaments, tournament results, and club news. Sign- up sheets for club events or other important club events (Check them weekly)

Horseshoes: Every member should bring his/her own pitching shoes to the club, there are several lockers in the storage room if you wish to leave your pitching shoes at the club and lock them in the lockers.

Court & Facility Maintenance:  
When you finish pitching for the time you have spent at the club we ask that you sweep up around the courts and water the clay and turn over the clay and cover the courts with the rubber mats to keep the clay moist for the next member to pitch on they will do the same.


When you exit the building please make sure that all the lights (Switches are under the steps to the balcony) and ceiling fans are TURN OFF. When you leave the building PLEASE LOCK THE DOOR ON THE BUILDING AND LOCK THE GATE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DRIVEWAY.

Every Saturday Morning around 9:30 AM (unless otherwise specified) members join in to give the building a good cleaning if you have time and would like to help it would really be appreciated by the club LETS KEEP H.O.P.E.THE BEST LOOKING CLUB IN THE STATE.

Horseshoes Of Pittsburgh Enterprises is a Horseshoe pitching club open to any and all people who would like to pitch horseshoes or learn how to pitch horseshoes. We have all skill levels pitching at our courts from beginners to very good pitchers.
We even have a world women champion (2013) who pitches at our club. Our club is open to any horseshoe pitching enthusiast Come out and try your luck at pitching a ringer or two.
